2018 Tourism & Business Awards
The Tourism & Business Awards celebrations were held on the 21st March in the fabulous Assembly Room at the Town Hall Great Yarmouth. We awarded those businesses who had gone that extra mile by recognising and celebrating their achievements. We asked you to nominate outstanding businesses and individuals/groups within the listed categories – and you did in droves, we had a record number of entries this year and the list of winners are below : (Photos will be available from this site early next week)
The categories and winners this year were :
- Investment Award – Sentinel Leisure & The Sealife Centre
- Business Website Award – The Andover
- New Business Award – SW1 Restaurant
- Customer Service Award – The Sealife Centre
- Marketing Campaign Award – Redwings
- Community Contribution Award – Fusion Hair Consultants for their team’s work with customers with Alopecia or hair loss through cancer
- Family-owned Business Award – Allens Butchers, Hemsby
- Rising Star Award – Jack Button from Jacks Jetty Snacks
- Working Team Award – Redwings
- Business Superstar Award – Richard Routledge for 35 years of charity fundraising and bringing staying customers into the town through ‘Richards Parties’
History
The GYTABIA has undertaken tourism awards since 1997, the awards have changed and evolved over time, but the principal of undertaking an awards process has always been well received. The 2017 Tourism & Business Awards were held on Tuesday 14th March at the Great Yarmouth Town Hall and the list of winners & finalists are available for you to download below.
