2019 Season Launch

Greater Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Area
in conjunction with Great Yarmouth Borough Council
Cordially invite you to join the 2019 Year Launch Celebrations
St Georges Theatre, King Street, Great Yarmouth
Tuesday 18th December 2018
12.00 for 12.30pm
We have lots to share with you – the celebrations include…..
 GYBC/GYTABIA public/private sector partnership has achieved so much over the last 25
years and we would like to remind you of some of the highlights.
 As the BID moves into its next phase of development and BID renewal, both GYTABIA and
Great Yarmouth Borough Council have committed to strengthen this important strategic
relationship. As such, both organisations will be working jointly as drivers of inward
investment and growth in tourism for the local area.
 The Borough Council in partnership with GYTABIA is proud to support the local tourism
sector with event marketing and promotion. Once again, it is a pleasure to unveil Great
Yarmouth’s iconic resort brochure – showcasing a selection of the wonders and delights of Greater Yarmouth.
 The Borough Council working with key partners is striving to unlock investment for capital
projects e.g. the Venetian Waterways, Winter Gardens, Splashpad in Gorleston, Old Town
Wall; conserving and re-presenting the area’s heritage for visitors and the community alike.
 2019 will see a new BID term and the co-authorship of a new Tourism, Culture & Heritage
Strategy to entice and present visitors with what the borough of Great Yarmouth has to
offer for many years to come.
If you would like to hear more please either email Karen Youngs at karen@gyta.com or call on
