Olly Murs announced as first headliner of new Great Yarmouth summer music festival
Pop superstar Olly Murs is the first headliner announced for On The Beach Great Yarmouth as a new four-day seafront festival launches next June.
The major new music festival will take place from June 17 to 20, bringing four days of live music to the Golden Mile, with Murs taking to the stage on Friday, June 18.
Known for his energetic live performances and catalogue of hits including Dance With Me Tonight, Troublemaker, Heart Skips a Beat and Wrapped Up, Murs has released eight studio albums and has sold more than two million tour tickets.
The announcement signals a new chapter for On The Beach, which has established itself as a leading live music event on Brighton seafront for the past six years.
Great Yarmouth, known for its iconic Pleasure Beach, Hippodrome Circus and the Joyland Snails, has been chosen as the first expansion destination, with further artists to be announced in due course.
Asa Morrison, Chief Executive of Visit Great Yarmouth, said the seafront festival was a fantastic edition to Great Yarmouth’s summer offer.

It also helps us build on our year-round events programme that encourages people to discover Great Yarmouth outside the traditional peak summer period.”

On The Beach, launched in 2021, has previously welcomed artists such as Fatboy Slim, Madness, Carl Cox, Chase & Status, Eric Prydz, Bicep Live, The Kooks and Moby.
