Covid-19 Business Adaptation Grants for hospitality and food service sectors (tourism)
Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received funding to support small businesses in the hospitality and food service sectors of the tourism economy but only where they have incurred additional expense in adapting their business in order to reopen safely and in line with the Government’s coronavirus requirements. Summer Economic Package

The Chancellor has provided some new support for business as he delivered his Summer Economic Update in Parliament today (8th July), which outlined a package of measures to support jobs in every part of the country, give businesses the confidence to retain and hire, and provide people with the tools they need to get better jobs.
Key points to note:
Job Retention Bonus:To help firms keep on furloughed workers, UK Employers will receive a one-off bonus of £1,000 for each furloughed employee who is still employed as of 31 January 2021.
Kickstart Scheme: A new £2 billion scheme will also be launched to create hundreds of thousands of new,
Visit England ‘Good to Go’
VisitEngland have launched the new accredited ‘We’re Good to Go’ scheme which is a free UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark to reassure your customers that your business adheres to Government and public health guidance.
